The Call of the White

Here are a compilation of extracts from the 2011 documentary film 'The Call of the White' for which Chris composed the entire score. The film follows Antarctic expedition leader Felicity Aston (www.felicityaston.co.uk) as she journeys to the south pole with a group of women from various commonwealth countires who are all inexperiened in such endeavours. The film was produced by Snowline Productions of Bristol (www.snowlineproductions.com) and has been shown at various film festivals around the world. At the bottom of the page there is a selection of audio also from the film.

Ladies Meet - Canditates for the expedition arrive at the training camp in Norway and meet for the first time.

Decision Music - The candidates await the decision as whether they have been chosen for the expedition or not.

Snowflake in Hell - The training camp is hit by a severe storm and a couple of the tents are destroyed.

The Last Hard Slog - After walking for 800km the exhausted women see their destination for the first time.
